From Chaos to Celebration

This time of year always hits me with a mix of emotions. The air feels crisp, the colors turn warm, and yet… my mind often races faster than ever. The Back to School season never fails to pull me into a whirlwind, school drop-offs, soccer practices, judo matches, choir rehearsals, birthday parties… and then, suddenly, it’s the holidays knocking at the door.

And honestly? This year was a lot.

We came back from Italy full of joy, heart, and carbs, drained in the best way possible from all the beauty, the hugs, the family time. But as soon as our suitcases hit the floor, I jumped right into one of the most intense routines I’ve ever done: waking up at 4am every morning to study for my NASM Personal Training certification. Two Sundays ago, I finally passed — and it felt like such a win.

And while I was at it, I somehow ran one of my best races ever: a half marathon in 1h41min. My legs felt strong, but my heart even stronger.

Still, behind the scenes, it was messy. Kids’ activities everywhere, a full calendar, a few germs that completely knocked us down, and that familiar mom fatigue that no amount of coffee can fix. But you know what? I also learned something really important through all this: I can’t (and shouldn’t) do it all. I’m finally learning to delegate, to ask for help, to lean on the beautiful community around me.

And that’s what this season is about for me.

Because here’s the truth, the holidays can easily become another kind of busy. We start setting high expectations, trying to make everything magical for our kids, but we forget to enjoy the magic ourselves.

This year, I want to do things differently. I want to slow down, celebrate, and connect. I want to feel the joy of the season, not chase it.

So, I’ve decided to bring our GfM community together for a few special events that are all about fun, friendship, and filling your cup back up:

🤸‍♀️November Masterclass Saturday, November 8th

🍂 FitGiving Masterclass – Family Hike & Potluck Sunday, November 23rd
Let’s move, laugh, and eat together outdoors — because gratitude feels even better when shared.

🐻 Mama Bear Hikes – Every other Friday 11/7 - 12/5 - 12/19
Our weekly ritual to breathe, talk, and connect — no rush, no stress, just moms recharging in nature.

🎄 Holiday Party Friday, December 5th
A time to reflect, celebrate, and honor how far we’ve come this year — as women, as moms, and as a community.

🤸‍♀️December Masterclass Saturday, December 13th

Because this year, I don’t want to just get through the holidays.
I want to enjoy them — together with you.
